Garrett is proficient in electrical system design, power distribution, lighting, low-voltage systems, and fire alarm design. He brings hands-on expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, and AGI32, and has led numerous projects from design through construction. Currently located in Nebraska and licensed in Iowa, Nebraska, and multiple other states, Garrett is well-positioned for immediate contribution in the Ames, Des Moines, or Omaha locations.

Over 15 years of experience in electrical design, across various sectors like medical, commercial, government, residential, and education buildings.

Strong in building power, lighting, low-voltage, and fire alarm systems – all critical requirements of the job.

Hands-on with construction documents, code reviews, estimations, site visits, and spec writing, which aligns directly with the listed responsibilities.

Extensive experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI32, and other relevant tools.

✔️ Licensing & Location:
Holds a PE license in IA (Iowa), NE, NM, NY, MN, TX, CA – and is open to licensing in other states.

Currently based in Elkhorn, NE – relocation to Ames, Des Moines, or Omaha (all nearby) would not be an issue.

✔️ Leadership & Project Management:
Has led teams, developed company standards, trained others, and worked directly with AHJs and clients.

Repeated involvement in project leadership, multi-disciplinary coordination, and design-build collaboration.

✔️ Industry Knowledge:
Experience with civic, healthcare, education, and mixed-use buildings – matching the firm's clientele.

Familiar with DOE funding, LEED, and energy-efficient solutions, which adds extra value.
